Why is my AirTouch Beam not responding to commands?

If your AirTouch Beam device isn’t responding to commands through the app, there could be several factors affecting its performance. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue effectively.

Troubleshooting Checklist

  1. Check Power and Connectivity

    • Ensure the AirTouch Beam is powered on and securely connected.

    • Confirm that it is connected to a working Wi-Fi network.

  2. Check Line of Sight to the AC Unit

    • The device must have a clear line-of-sight to your air conditioning unit to function correctly.

    • Obstructions such as furniture or walls may interfere with the IR signal.

  3. Look for the Blue LED Indicator

    • When a command is sent from the app, the device should blink blue, indicating it's actively transmitting to the AC.

    • If the light does not blink, the device may not be receiving the command or is experiencing connectivity issues.

  4. Restart the Device

    • Unplug the AirTouch Beam device.

    • Wait for at least 5 seconds.

    • Plug it back in to restart and reset the connection.
