What should I do if my AirTouch Beam is unresponsive after a power outage?

If your AirTouch Beam device becomes unresponsive after a power outage, follow these troubleshooting steps to restore functionality:

Steps to Resolve Unresponsiveness

  1. Reboot the Device:

    • Unplug the AirTouch Beam device from the power source.

    • Wait for about 10-15 seconds.

    • Plug it back in to reboot the device. This can help reset any temporary disruptions caused by the power outage.

  2. Check Your Wi-Fi Network:

    • Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working correctly. If the internet connection is down, the AirTouch Beam may not be able to reconnect.

    • Verify that other devices in your home are connected to the Wi-Fi to confirm the network is operational.

  3. Perform a Factory Reset (If Needed):

    • If the device remains unresponsive after rebooting and checking the network, perform a factory reset.

    • To reset, press and hold the reset button on the AirTouch Beam for approximately 8 seconds until the LED indicator blinks red.

    • After resetting, you'll need to reconfigure the device by following the initial setup process.
