What Is the ‘Auto Off’ Feature and How Does It Work?

The Auto Off feature automatically turns off your air conditioner (AC) after a set period of inactivity, helping you save energy and prevent unnecessary operation. 

  • Purpose: To conserve energy and avoid the AC running when there’s no activity for a defined period. 
  • Inactivity: Refers to when no changes are made to the AC settings via the app, or features such as Programs, Favourites, Geofence, etc. 

How It Works 

  1. Open the AirTouch Beam app on your mobile device.
  2. Locate the Auto Off button. 
    • If you have a single device, the button is available on the Dashboard. 
    • If you have multiple devices, tap on the desired device tile, then find the button on the detail screen.
  3. The Auto Off screen will appear:
    • Tap Enable to turn on the feature. 
    • Select your preferred duration. 
    • Tap Save to confirm. 
  4. Once enabled, Beam will automatically turn off your AC if no activity is detected for the selected duration.  

      Example Use Cases 

      • You fall asleep with the AC on > Beam turns it off after 2 hours to save energy. 
      • You leave home, and no activity is detected for 2 hours > Beam automatically switches off the AC.
