What are the requirements to install and use AirTouch Beam?

Before installing and setting up your AirTouch Beam, make sure you have the required hardware and environment in place. This guide outlines everything you need to get started smoothly.

• Micro-USB cable (for power)

Hardware & Network Requirements

To operate AirTouch Beam effectively, ensure the following:

• Power Source:
  A USB power adapter with a standard Micro-USB connection (cable included).

• Wireless Network:
  A stable Wi-Fi connection using:

  • IEEE 802.11b/g/n

  • 2.4GHz band only (5GHz is not supported)

Smartphone Requirements

A smartphone is required for setup and operation via the AirTouch Beam app:

• Minimum supported OS: Android 8.0 (Oreo)

• For Matter functionality: Android 8.1 or higher

• Minimum supported OS: iOS 16.4

• For Matter functionality: iOS 16.1 or higher

Note: For Matter-enabled features, a Matter-compatible home hub (e.g., Google Nest Hub, Apple HomePod) is optional.
