Why Has One or More AC Units Dropped from the AirTouch Control Display or App?

If one or more of your connected air conditioning units have disappeared from the AirTouch control panel or app, this guide will help you identify and resolve the issue.

1. The Affected AC Unit May Not Have Power

The most common cause is a lack of power to the AC unit:

  • Check the isolator switch near the outdoor fan unit for the affected AC. Ensure it is switched ON.

  • Inspect your home's switchboard to make sure the circuit breaker for the AC unit is also turned ON.

  • If you’re unsure or uncomfortable checking these, contact a licensed electrician or your AC installer.

2. The Affected AC Unit May Not Be Wired Correctly to AirTouch

A wiring or configuration issue may prevent AirTouch from detecting the unit:

  • This will require support from your AC installer.

  • The installer should verify the wiring connections between AirTouch and the AC unit.

  • Ensure correct DIP switch settings on the AC unit gateway.

The installer can refer to the official AirTouch Installer Manuals for wiring diagrams and DIP switch configurations.

3. The Affected AC Unit May Be Faulty

If power and wiring have been confirmed to be correct:

  • The unit itself may be malfunctioning.

  • Contact your AC installer or the manufacturer’s support centre for further diagnosis or repair.
