My AirTouch is showing an error code. What do I need to do to solve this problem?

If your AirTouch system displays an error code, it's indicating a problem with either the AirTouch controller or your ducted air conditioning unit.

Common Error Codes: FFFF, FFFE, FFFC

These codes typically point to communication or power issues between the AirTouch system and the AC unit.

What You Can Check First:

  1. AC System Power

    • Make sure the AC isolator switch near your outdoor unit is turned ON.

    • Check your electrical switchboard to ensure the AC circuit breaker is also switched ON.

If both are on and the error still appears, this is not an issue that can be resolved by the user.

Please contact the installer who installed your AirTouch 5 system to investigate and resolve the issue. This is likely related to cabling or configuration and must be addressed by a qualified technician.

Other Error Codes

If a different error code appears, it may be from your AC unit manufacturer (not AirTouch-specific).

In that case:

  • Refer to your AC user manual for error code meanings.

  • Contact your AC installer or the manufacturer’s support team for help.

Summary:

If you're seeing error codes like FFFF, FFFE, or FFFC, the issue likely requires your installer to check the cabling and configuration. Please reach out to them directly.
