Is my air conditioner compatible with AirTouch Beam?

AirTouch Beam is compatible with most air conditioners that operate via an IR remote control. If your AC uses an IR remote (pointed directly at the indoor unit), it will generally work with AirTouch Beam.

How to Check Compatibility

To confirm compatibility:

  1. Download the AirTouch app (available on Android and iOS).

  2. After you have successfully added your AirTouch Beam to the app, you will be prompted to Identify your AC. 
  3. When prompted by the app, point your AC remote at the logo on the front of your Beam device.

  4. While the Beam's LED is blinking Cyan, press the power button on the AC Remote Control to begin syncing.

  5. The app will display a list of AC brands based on the signal received. Select your AC brand from the list.

  6. Wait for AirTouch Beam to process the signal and shortlist compatible brands and profiles.

  7. Test the available profiles and select the one that works best for your AC unit.

What if you can’t find a suitable profile?

If none of the profiles work with your AC:

  • Please contact our Beam support team.

  • Provide clear images of your AC remote control (both front and back).

  • We will review your remote to find the best matching profile or consider adding a new one, though this is less common.
