How to Use Turbo Zone on AirTouch 2 Plus and 4?

Whether you’ve just come home to a warm house, need to quickly cool down a busy room, or want to prep the entertainment area for guests, AirTouch’s Turbo Zone feature helps you get comfortable fast.


What Does Turbo Zone Do?

Turbo Zone is a feature available on AirTouch 2+ and AirTouch 4 (and ZoneTouch) that sends extra conditioned air to a selected zone, helping it cool or heat faster than normal.

Perfect for:

  • Quickly cooling a room that’s too warm

  • Reconditioning an area after a door or window was left open

  • Entertaining guests and needing a quick comfort boost

  • Getting your space ready before an event

  • Turbo Zone boosts airflow temporarily, ideal for immediate comfort needs.

Turbo Zone Icon

  • Look for the wind icon on the ZoneTouch or AirTouch interface.

  • Once activated, this icon indicates the zone is in Turbo mode.


How to Set Up Turbo Zone

You must assign Turbo to a zone before you can use it.

To Set Up Turbo Zone:

  1. Open the Quick Menu

  2. Tap System Settings

  3. Select Turbo Group

  4. Choose the zone you want to assign Turbo to from the dropdown

  5. Save your selection

How to Activate Turbo Zone

Once a zone has been assigned as a Turbo Zone:

  • Turn the zone off, then on again to activate Turbo mode.

  • The wind icon will appear, indicating that increased airflow is being directed to the zone.


System Support

  • 1 Turbo Zone per AC unit is supported.

  • If your home has 2 ducted AC systems, you can set up 2 Turbo Zones (one per system).
