How to Set Temperature Limits (Set Point Limit) on AirTouch 5?
AirTouch 5 includes smart features that help you optimize energy usage and keep your home comfortable. One of these features is the Set Point Limit, which lets you set upper and lower temperature boundaries for your air conditioning system.
By limiting the range of temperatures that can be selected, you can avoid excessive cooling or heating, saving energy and reducing unnecessary system strain.
What Is the Set Point Limit?
The Set Point Limit feature lets you define a minimum and maximum temperature range for each AC unit in your system. For example, you might prevent anyone from setting the temperature below 17°C or above 26°C.
This is particularly helpful for:
- Preventing extreme temperature changes
- Maintaining consistent comfort
- Reducing energy waste
- Controlling shared access to AC settings
How to Set a Set Point Limit on AirTouch 5:
- On the AirTouch 5 console, tap the Quick Menu (top right corner).
- Select Settings.
- Tap Smarts, then choose Home Temp Limits.
- Set your preferred upper and lower temperature limits for each unit.
Once configured, users will only be able to adjust temperatures within the allowed range.
