How to Connect AirTouch 4 to WiFi?

AirTouch 4 offers advanced smart control for your air conditioning system, with both local and remote access via a secure WiFi connection. To get started, you'll need to connect the console to your home WiFi network.

This guide shows you how to do it easily using the Android based interface of the AirTouch 4 console.

Step-by-Step: Connecting AirTouch 4 to WiFi

Important:

AirTouch 4 supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks only. Ensure that the 2.4GHz band is enabled on your home router before you begin.

1. Open the Quick Menu

  • On the AirTouch 4 console, tap the Quick Menu icon located in the top right corner of the screen.

2. Access Android System Settings

  • From the Quick Menu, tap the shortcut to open the Operating System Settings.

3. Go to WiFi Settings

  • Within the Android settings interface, tap on WiFi.

  • A list of available WiFi networks will be displayed.

4. Select Your Home Network

  • Choose your 2.4GHz WiFi network from the list.

  • Tap to select it.

5. Enter the WiFi Password

  • Input your WiFi network password using the on-screen keyboard.

  • Tap Connect.

6. Confirm Connection

  • Once connected, you’ll see a WiFi icon in the status bar at the top of the screen.

  • This indicates that your AirTouch 4 console is now online and ready to use.


If Your Network Settings Change

AirTouch 4 will remain connected unless something changes on your router, such as:

  • Network name (SSID)

  • Password

  • Security type (WEP/WPA/WPA2)

  • MAC address filtering being enabled

If your connection is lost due to any of these changes, simply repeat the above steps to reconnect.

After a power failure, the AirTouch 4 console will automatically reconnect to the WiFi network once your home router is back online.

Using the AirTouch App

Once WiFi is connected, you can control your air conditioning system remotely using the AirTouch App.

App Setup Steps:

  1. Ensure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the same WiFi network.

  2. Download the AirTouch App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

  3. Open the app to establish an initial connection with your AirTouch 4 console.

  4. Once linked, you can control your system from anywhere in the world using your mobile device.

AirTouch 4 is now online, giving you full smart control over your air conditioning, whether you’re at home or on the go. Use the app to manage zones, temperatures, and schedules with ease.
