How do I set up geofencing and why isn't it working properly?

Geofencing allows AirTouch to automatically perform actions (such as turning the air conditioning on or off) based on your location. This feature enhances both convenience and energy efficiency by using your proximity to home.

How to Enable Geofencing

1. Open the AirTouch app on your mobile device.

2. Navigate to Settings > Geofencing.

3. Configure your desired actions (e.g., turn off AC when you leave, turn on when you arrive).

4. Ensure Location Services are enabled on your mobile device.

5. Set Location Permission for the app to “Always Allow.”

Why Geofencing Might Not Work

If geofencing isn't functioning as expected, check the following:

• Battery Optimization Settings
  Make sure your device isn’t restricting the app’s background location access. Disable battery optimization or exclude the AirTouch app from power-saving settings.

• Location Access
  Confirm that location permissions for the AirTouch app are set to Always Allow, not “While Using” or “Ask Every Time.”

• Internet & GPS
  Ensure your device has an active internet connection and accurate GPS signal.
